This anecdotal account of the experiences of three women having ovary transplants doesn't mention potential side effects or the availability of this procedure in Australia.
As interesting as it certainly is, assertions that "Women will have so much more choice about when and how to have children..." and "(this is) ...as significant as the pill was so many years ago" seem a bit far-fetched. It should be noted, however, that these statements came from the researcher rather that of the journalist.
As ever, a comment from an independent local expert would have added immeasurable value to this story.
